Introducing the MSA

We are thrilled to announce the formation of the Markiesje Society of America, the official parent club for the Markiesje breed in the United States. As the sole entity working towards AKC accreditation, our mission is to promote and protect the interests of this wonderful breed.

In collaboration with the esteemed Nederlandse Markiesjes Vereniging (translation Dutch Markiesje Association), we aim to ensure the breed's growth and recognition. This journey is long and challenging, but with your support, we are confident in our success. We invite all enthusiasts, potential owners, current Markiesje lovers, and even owners of look-alike dogs to join us. Feel free to ask questions and stay tuned for updates.

As we progress, we will need more members and supporters. Your passion for the Markiesje will be crucial in achieving AKC recognition. Let’s work together to give this charming breed the recognition it deserves.
